In today’s Wall Street Journal, David Biderman used our very own Ben Blatt’s probability-based H-O-R-S-E strategy to show how to win the game most of the time. If you go first against an opponent of the same quality, always shooting a mid-range jumper (assuming the shot has about a 50% chance of going in) means that you’re more likely to win, regardless of the shot that the opponent attempts when it’s his turn.
You can probably expect further analysis on the topic, appearing either here or in the Journal. Thanks to David and Ben!
Where can I find Ben Blatt’s original work?
